Join the park naturalist for a hike that will open your eyes to the less recognized signs of spring. (Participants will be walking at least a mile on uneven surfaces.) Peebles Shopping Center, Huntingdon - The Raystown Lake Region Home and Garden Show is a family friendly event with over 50 vendors, both inside and outside, showcasing home improvement products and services, heating and AC systems, financial services, real estate, furniture, landscaping, energy efficient systems, and related home products. Sponsored by the Huntingdon County Builders Association and the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce. Kids activities include face painting, crafts, games and Lego Competition. Shaver's Creek, Petersburg - Shaver's Creek has held the annual festival since 1984 to celebrate the first harvest of the new year and help people learn about the maple sugaring process—both in colonial days and in the present day.
